Selena Gomez, an actress and singer who is well-known worldwide. She is the star of Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her most successful projects. Her full name is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born on 22nd July 1992 located in Grand Prairie Texas. The parents of Selena are Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Her mother, Amanda Cornett, was sixteen years old at the time Selena was conceived. Selena got her first showbiz job when she was just 9 years old. she played Gianna on Barney and her Friends. This meant she was among many children to have played in the role of Barney, a famous Pink Dinosaur, an anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena participated in numerous episodes from seasons 7 and 8, which ran from 2001 until 2003. Interesting trivia: Demi Lovato, who was part of Barney's Friends at the time too, also worked with Selena. Selena Gomez tried out for several other roles and programs after leaving Barney and his Friends, but she did not succeed.
