Aisha Jamila is an American actress who is best famous for her performances in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut she has demonstrated her versatility by performing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The first time she was noticed was in 2005 due to the role of Anna, as seen in Assault on Precinct 13 However it was her portrayal of feminist activists Fannie Lou Hamer on the film biographical All the Way that finally made her an actor. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground was also highly appreciated. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show is renewed for a third series from 20th Century Fox Television. Hind just wrapped shooting on the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters and will release around the middle of 2019. She starred in two celebrated parts: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hogaia. Bachchan's New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both of these films were a departure from the traditional Bollywood model. In the same year she was an the only Indian actress to join the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan was in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is the musical version and ballet adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan's star power and beauty was brought to the very first major English-language film. Before releasing Provoked:A True Story 2006 in English the actress returned to Bollywood to star as a co-star in Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash success). Abhishek Bachchan is a Bollywood star and frequent co-star. Also, he is the son of Amitabh Bachchan.
