Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American actor, most famous as a star of the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit. The first time he became interested in acting was when he was in college. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. His television characters are gaining him lots of popularity. His ability to play characters from both sides of the law is what has caught the attention of viewers. He was the role of a serial killer in the first TV show he appeared in and then later played of an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on the smaller screen, he's been up for nomination several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. The eyelashes that are piercing and blue, which have been said to make the actor look gorgeous. They've helped him play rough characters in a charismatic way. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
